I grew up in Austin, TX, spent the first part of my career in Chicago, and have been in Paris for the last nine years. I'm the Director of the American Library in Paris, which is both a bustling English-language lending library—the largest on the European continent—and a cultural center. As a nonprofit leader, I'm passionate about building community around shared purpose, particularly lifelong learning.

I have a Master's in Information and Library Science, and I'm working on my Executive MBA at HEC Paris with a specialization in digital transformation.

The most effective leaders create conditions in which everyone on a team flourishes. I also believe that when business, civic institutions, and public policy align, we can tap into enormous potential for positive social change.

I have a strong record of organizational growth and am interested in all the levers that institutions can pull to grow: marketing, communications, performance management, strategy, and, above all, a positive organizational culture.

I'm also an essayist, illustrator, and dog owner.
